Nanda has updated her elf and fairy drawing workshop to a fairy painting workshop with watercolor paint
During this workshop, you will learn how to draw a beautiful fairy and color it with water color paint. You will learn new techniques to create beautiful and magical illustrations.
The workshop will take from 60 to 75 minutes. You will go home with detailed instructions on painting with water colors, and you will get a Nanda Creates folder, two paintbrushes, a pencil and a kneaded eraser.
The workshop is in Dutch, but you can ask me questions in English

Learn to draw Anime / Manga
Are you a fan of Anime and Manga? Would you like to learn how to draw characters in this style? This is your chance! At all these events you can participate in one of the Anime / Manga workshops.
The workshop will take from 45 - 60 minutes. You will go home with detailed instructions on how to draw, and you will get a Nanda Creates folder, a pencil and a kneaded eraser.

Kawaii drawing workshop
Kawaii is a Japanese word that means cute or adorable, but it is much more than that. It is a cultural phenomenon deeply rooted in Japanese society and pop culture. Kawaii refers to a style characterized by cute and childlike features, such as big eyes, soft colors, and rounded shapes.
During these workshops you will learn how to draw in this cute japanese style. The easy to follow step by step instructions will help you create lovely characters.
The workshop will take from 45 - 60 minutes. You will go home with detailed instructions on how to draw, and you will get a Nanda Creates folder, a pencil and a kneaded eraser.

What skill level is required?

From absolute beginners to skillful artists. If you find drawing difficult, you can even trace the examples. The important thing is to have fun!
Do I need to bring anything?

You don't have to bring anything. Art supplies are available during this workshop.
How long are the workshops?

The workshop are about 60 minutes long.
What language is the workshop?

The workshop is in Dutch, but I can help in English as well. But most of the convention will be in Dutch as well.
What days and times are the workshops?

On Wednesday 21 August, Thursday 22 August, Friday 23 August, Saterday 24 august and Sunday 25 august. There will be three time slots. At 10:30, 13:00, and at 15:00. Full is full, so sign up soon to guarantee your spot!
About me
Hi, my name is Nanda van Dijk and I would be honored to help you strengthen your drawing skills!
I started drawing when I was a little kid, and I now work as a freelance illustrator and animator for commercials and feature films. Please visit the portfolio tap to see some of my animation and storyboard work.
Drawing fantasy characters is something I've always loved to do. Ever since I was a kid, I was creating magical characters. Now I often make fantasy illustrations inspired by the games 'Dungeons and Dragons' and 'Magic the Gathering' and I print these illustrations on Alter Sleeves. These are sleeves for Magic the Gathering cards to transform the artwork of the cards.
The past two years, I've also worked at the Sint Joost school of Art as an Animation and Illustration teacher. I have helped many students elevate their drawing skills, and I am confident that I can teach you a couple of tricks as well!

Started in 1995 to introduce the general public to artisanal products from small producers, the Landgoedfair has since grown into one of the largest fairs in the Netherlands. Numerous fruit trees and the beautiful location in the heart of the estate, with the historic buildings surrounding the Cloister and The big house, provide a unique setting.

It was an extremely useful workshop! She explained everything very calmly, and the drawing process was broken down into very small steps, making it incredibly easy to follow. I went along with a friend, as I actually have no experience with drawing, but even I found it incredibly successful! It has definitely sparked my interest in drawing manga! Additionally, everyone was super friendly, and we received great tips while drawing! I would recommend it to everyone.
